How does it compare to sandblasting and other media?

What can’t it do?
Laser cleaning is highly effective, but other methods are better for very large surface areas, heavy material removal, and some materials such as plastic.
Is it safe?
Yes. When performed by trained operators using the correct equipment and safety procedures, laser cleaning is a safe and highly controlled process. Operators wear specialised laser safety equipment, and the work area is controlled to protect nearby personnel.
